In Europe it’s the other way round. :3 But if we’re actually talking about the games themselves, the first one wasn’t really that bad. Short, but sweet, if that makes sense. Plus also in Europe, new copies had a sticker book and half of a sticker set, the rest you had to buy from the old Rayman 2 website which I *REGRET* missing, this was back in 2000 we’re talking about here.
The second one was a right fucking mess though, it was recycling both the music and the graphics, plus the cutscene artworks were proper herpdedurp.

The British Academy Video Game Awards took place last night. By all accounts it was a great night and lots of deserving games took home some serious gongage (yes, that is a word I’ve just made up).
My personal favourite game of last year won an award for ‘Artistic Achievement’. If you haven’t guessed from the picture at the top of this post, that game was the wonderful Rayman Origins.
Thankfully COD won nothing so there is some justice in the world. BTW I’m not a BF3 fan before anyone asks. Can’t stand first-person shooters.

Not surprised TBH, it’s supposedly fully done by Ubi’s Casablanca team and they don’t exactly have a good reputation when it comes to their handhelds especially after they cocked Rayman 2/3D up.
This is from back in 2007 so the background is far from what I’ve been doing lately. I thought this was put back in my gallery but apparently I never got around to it. It’s the only piece of Rayman art I have which is a shame because I love the games and the short-lived animated series (which can be watched on Youtube starring Billy West)
There’s supposed to be a Rabbid TV show next year.

DO A RAYMAN ONE THAT’S FAR MORE INTERESTING!
Old news plus even people that worked on the existing Rayman animated series admitted it was poorly done.
while I was scanning some other drawings I’m gonna work on, I decided to touch this one up. I have a soft spot for redheads. And freckles. :p
I’ve been playing Rayman Origins for a month now, and it is AWESOME! I love the wackiness and surrealism of the game, and the backgrounds are simply stunning. I’ve been drawing the characters a lot these days, especially Globox. Maybe I’ll post those up on my tumblr soon.
This was fun to draw, perhaps I may draw the rest of the nymphs!

I cannot do a Russian accent so I’m just gonna say NIIIIICEE
ten bucks it’s thanks to full blown pirates that are too cheap to actually buy Rayman games, plus the PC versions were a pain in the ass to install and play on PC anyways
